Semester Schedule

Elementary (Grades 1 – 6):

1st Semester : August 31 – December 16

2nd Semester : January 4 – April 28

Grades 7th and up

1st Semester : August 31 – December 16**
2nd Semester : January 4** - May 5

KCA meets each Tuesday and Thursday during the semester, from 8:30 a.m. until 3:05 p.m. See the schedule of classes for individual class times.

** The American Government class will begin August 31st and end January 6th.
** The Personal Finance class will begin January 11th and will end May 5th.

Holidays—no KCA classes

Thanksgiving: November 23rd and 25th
Christmas: December 20, 2010 – January 2, 2011
Spring Break: March 28, 2011 – April 1, 2011

Snow Schedule

Make up dates for closings due to snow:
Elementary: May 3rd and 5th (only if needed)
Upper Grades (7th and up): May 10th and 12th (only if needed)

*If classes are cancelled due to inclement weather, makeup days will be added to the end of the school year at the discretion of the KCA Board.
